Just cause 2 Multiplayer

It's out, and JC2 is only $3 for like 20 more hours. I strongly recommend everyone buy it, and then we shall play.

I bought this game because it was 3 dollars and I really don't like it ;-;
I played it for about half an hour and just quit. It is so frustrating trying to climb into a helicopter when my guy wants to skydive off a building. I'm like "NO YOU FAGET DON'T LOOK DOWN LOOK AT THE FUCKING HELICOPTER"
The basic mechanics are decent, it's just too hard to do simple things. Like, I tried jumping off a helicopter and then immediately using the grappling hook, but he takes a good 3 seconds to do a back flip or some shit before you can do that.
Like fuck man.

Kerbin, did you try the single player first? I don't remember having any problems with it, but maybe I've just gotten used to it. Once you do, it's a really good game. The story and voice acting are shit, but you can do so much crazy awesome stuff. And with a friend or two, multiplayer is awesome. Even alone, you can fuck with people, do crazy experiments, and dick around hardcore. Even if you still don't like it, it was only $3. Definitely worth it for me. Akazi and Glabbs, we should play. Also if anyone has Monaco, we should do that shit too.

Yeah, it was single player. I tried that damn helicopter scene about twenty times.
Everything leading up to it was ok. I kind of wanted more out of it in the way of stealth. Like, zipping around like that would be awesome for a little bit of sneaksy thingses. Not game breaking though, just a personal preference.

Korban, I think you went into the wrong route expecting JC2 to be stealthy, also, aren't half of the screenshots in the store page depicting Rico in a firefight or with aMichael Bay-ish explosion in the background?

Well, I found the game to be very easy to play, with a gamepad that is.

No, I didn't expect it to be super-stealth or anything, just wanted it to play in a little. And it kind of does. The enemies lose track of you, if you break line of sight. Maybe it'd be easier on game pad.

Working on a Mod

Post by FlaviaBab » Thu Dec 26, 2013 5:14 am

Oooo....I am very tempted to try this. I just worry about it working on my 64bit system.

Is it easy to undo a mod if it doesn't work?

It's a 'standalone' mod in Steam, so it doesn't really involve merging files and screwing up the base game.
