As for the original question, I thought up a creature called the "barbed nightmare" a while back.



Main part's the double jaw, which I'm quite pleased with.

im thinkin see-through feathers made of a very strong glass sort of thing...
if u understand what i mean

but scales, feather and bone are somthing i want, like think of feathers, they look like organic leaves ,
i need somthing that organic but sort of metalic look
