I'd actually like to see some more games with this kind of simple yet open goal-based gameplay.

I remember loong, long hours of "The day of the tentacle" or "Monkey Island" (all of them) "Full throttle" and so on.. I forgot where I put those games.. But, ah.. the memories.
If I marry someone and get children, I'll make them play Lugaru 2.
Then they'll grow up and have great memories of the game. And share it on a forum to alot of strangers and be all silly.

You are a detective being sent to a weird town called Innsmouth, to find a guy that's missing. But you uncover something horrible there. And suddenly it turns to a fight/runforyourlifeandhide survival game.
I thought that it was a great game, you should definatly check it out if you are a fan of horror.
