Not that many of those. Is there a demo for that game?

Sword of the Samurai? You can get the whole thing as abondonware for free on the internets :)

You'll need DOSBox to run it though.

Infact, cos I'm the generous type heres a link:
http://www.abandonia.com/games/en/264/S ... amurai.htm

I'd actually like to see some more games with this kind of simple yet open goal-based gameplay.

I remember loong, long hours of "The day of the tentacle" or "Monkey Island" (all of them) "Full throttle" and so on.. I forgot where I put those games.. But, ah.. the memories. :)

If I marry someone and get children, I'll make them play Lugaru 2.
Then they'll grow up and have great memories of the game. And share it on a forum to alot of strangers and be all silly.

I'm playing through MI2 right now, but being used to fast paced action
or puzzle games, I always get frustrated and play short periods.
Especially the inventory. I have so many items that I got so long ago
that are just in my face all the time.

That's weird, that isn't the game i saw on ign. I saw a game with the same name that was a port of Kengo 3 [ps2]. It was released as sword of the samurai in the us [PC].

I really want to play Mercenaries 2. It's so awesome because that game will have drop in and drop out co-op mode in splitscreen and on-line.

So you can sneak into a base on foot while you're friend goes through the entrance with a tank. It's so neat.

Oh, and I really, really, really want to play Call of Cthulhu: The dark corners of earth again! My xbox got fucked up, and I lost all my games
I enjoyed that game. :)

Ink, that is one of those few games I never played and always wanted to. Thanks for the reminder.

That game looks scary.

So much running away.

It's awesome! :)
You are a detective being sent to a weird town called Innsmouth, to find a guy that's missing. But you uncover something horrible there. And suddenly it turns to a fight/runforyourlifeandhide survival game.
I thought that it was a great game, you should definatly check it out if you are a fan of horror.

*edit
Your link contained info on the game
oh, well. Just getting some great memories here. :P

The only games I really want to play are…

Guess what? Two abandonware games by maxis: Streets of Sim City, and Sim Copter. Gotta love those games. Unfortunately, they're PC only and I no longer have a PC around to play them.

SOME DAY I WILL PLAY YOU!
