...Who says? You don't need to tween to do that.

However you do need to use a cycle, and as AppleWorks isn't an animation app, all it can do is make images which I then use to make GIFs out of.

Not to mention the fact that GIFs don't support repeats, so that's another problem if I want to make a "Traditional" walk cycle (One that is actually classed as a repeating set of frames in the animation file itself, in this case GIF)

I use AppleWorks to make these, remember that. If you can't do something in MS Paint, chances are I can't do it in AppleWorks.

Ah. I used to use GIF MovieMaker for mine. Anyway, the real use of the link David posted was that it gives you an idea of how detailed walking can look without too many frames. It verifies my earlier opinion that you had just a tad bit too few. (It also shows you how you can make the arms move... :P)

Thing has returned, along with a new avatar!

A trio of animations to make up for the absence of updates, including the avatar:

The Blue Box
The Blue Box 2
Breakdancer (Avatar)

Yeah, gotta love physics, even if they aren't done with a physics engine. Maybe this way's better! 8)

I hope to see more Stik soon, too. You make good animations. It's pretty amazing how far both series have come, actually. It's like the graphics improvements in the "Elder" webcomics like PA and Ctrl+Alt+Del, oh and also 8-Bit Theatre.

I'll start working on one tommorow.

Unless I can't be bothered, or if I forget.

Bit of a bump, but that happens a lot in this thread whenever I make an update.

I use AppleWorks Drawing to make the frames (I save them in PICT format), then GIFfun to turn those frames into animated GIFs.

That actually looks like something in a Halo trailer, with the shaking screen giving the illusion of very high FPS.

I know it wasn't intended, but it ended up pretty good, for some reason.

So yeah, sort of a compliment.
