I draw out a simple bubble/stick figure underneath the drawing. If you take a look at the sketch, you can see where I drew the structure. It also helps when placing lines of action.

Random fact I just found out- Most of the script of Iron Man (at least the first one, not sure about the second) was ad-libbed.

The action scenes were obviously carefully planned out, but for most of the rest of the film, they were apparently given a rough idea of what is happening, what to lead to, what is important to mention, that sort of thing, and then left to their own devices.

Apparantly they had a script by the end of the film, but they basically just wrote down the stuff that they thought was good after somebody came up with it, and didn't use the stuff that wasn't good.

Of course, I found this out on the internet, so it might be bullpoopie, but still.

Random fact, just about everything the janitor does in scrubs is ad-libbed too, I mean like, big parts are properly scripted, but the rest of it they just call him, go like "hey we're filming today, come on down", and so he does, he gets in costume, then just walks on and does whatever he wants, and it's never the same twice, found this out whilst surfing the special features on one of the series, can't remember which one. I was also watching an interview with Zach Braff when he mentioned it. That's the kind of actor I wanna be!
