TERA was a really nice-looking MMO using dynamic hack-and-slash combat reminiscent of Vindictus or Dragon Nest. Main selling point was basically the combat, graphics, and huge bosses. When it went fully F2P it changed its name to TERA: Rising.

I have a level 22 Slayer that I never touched after a few days of playing. Combat is just way too slow after playing Dragon Nest :P Quests and shit get extremely repetitive.

Right, so it's the same game. Nevermind then.

I gave Tera a try also. It's fun when playing with friends in TS, but since we all wanted to stick together we could only play when everyone was available. We didn't get very far.
O'course I made a solo char to explore and play a bit more with, but at some point I completely stopped, 'cos indeed, especially when playing alone, things get repetitive quite fast, despite everything feeling tons less grindy than your usual RPG because of the "fluid" (not actually fluid but more active than most) combat system.

So it's K.

I'm actually getting to that point right about now. I was having fun with my buddies in Raid Call but life happens and now each of us is separated by like 10 levels or so, leaving me ahead.

A grind is a grind

why do i bother with MMO's these days

however i do enjoy punks trying to gank me while i'm questing and then slamming them to shame.

:EDIT:
also the "elin" race being half naked kind of weirds me out a bit.... just a bit.

i love how they're advertising stuff like that and peeking around corners as features. Like 90% of the stuff they showed hasn't been around since the 90's. How do they get away with this stupid shit?

I've been playing Wargame: Airland Battle, which is a sequel to Wargame: European Escalation...from the creators of R.U.S.E..

The majority of that motion blur is from the camera shaking around each time the tank's main cannons fire.

No jets yet, but I've been working my way through the tutorials.

The [youtube] tag doesn't work with https://

It's a pretty sucky tag.
