Ah, BlazBlue. I haven't even played the game more than for about complete 2 hours, and I still know more about all the characters and how-everything-has-happened-and-why in the story than my friend who actually owns the game.

I tend to do that with games that has a well developed universe.
I wikia-read them asunder.

Mass Effect included?

Also, on a note related to that, who else here has played/is playing the ME3 demo?

EDIT: You had to know I was going to mention it eventually.

The Mass Effect story is also among those which I will completely analyse on said's Wikia-page. Among others are: The Metal Gear-series and The Assassins Creed-series (of which I have now started to watch playthroughs).

Yup, totally playing the ME3 demo.

Being a Vanguard is more fun than ever.

- Get Garrus to strip away their shields with a chain overload.
- Have Liara lob a singularity into the mob.
- Biotic charge into said mob, detonating the singularity.
- Immediately drop nova, scattering fools in every direction.
- Shotgun fire and biotic falcon punches for anything still twitching.

Fun.

Now, if only I could figure out how to unlock Krogans in the co-op...

EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. I now have a Krogan soldier decked out in hot pink armour who runs around headbutting people into oblivion.

HAMMER TIME

I've been playing BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend. Platinum is funny.

I've been trying to unlock the Drell or Asari for the Vanguard, I keep getting Male Soldier cards and upgrades.

Do you just unlock the different characters by leveling?

Has anyone played Kingdoms of Amalur? I've heard from three or four friends playing it that the gameplay is insanely fun.

You get them in the booster pack things, same as upgrades and equipment.

I'm pretty sure they count as 'uncommon', so you're better off going with the expensive packs.

It's like the forbidden single player love child of Fable and WoW. Okay I suppose... if you're into that kind of thing.

However, there are so, so, sooooo many small complaints I could make. For the sake of brevity I shall restrict myself to just one: I can beat a supposedly tough fight by closing my eyes and mashing the attack buttons at random. I mean that literally, as in i gave it a try before posting this. Oh, and that was on the hardest difficulty.

There are some nice things I could say about it to (the colours man, the colours!), but they're altogether overshadowed by the fact that it isn't sufficiently engaging to make me want to play it anymore. It's certainly not bad, just... meh.

In that case, I'll be going on there soon and not leaving until I have a Drell adept and a Krogan soldier.

Yeah, I want a Drell adept too. Cluster grenades are the shit.

Also a Salarian infiltrator for the shiny new Widow sniper rifle I just snagged.

It's a shame that both the Asari classes look kinda crap.
