You know what if no one has at least watched Attack On Titan (Let alone mention it in this thread) you should just die, just straight up die.

I feel like pretty much everyone has at least heard of it.
I don't enjoy much anime, and I've watched a good chunk of season 1.

Ahhh, so that's why that guy named his blog うぐぅ〜…
[+] backstory
There's a guy I know who does unboxing videos and reviews of japanese moe merch and figurines and started putting those on blog posts which he also posted to facebook.
I never got where 'uguu' came from until now.

Classic AC control style, directly related to AC4 and AC6's events? And possibly even AC5- I could've sworn I heard "Edge" in there. And free to play?

Huh. This might make up for my lukewarm reception of Assault Horizon.

E: Apparently it limits how much you can play via fuel. 1 mission = 1 fuel. You get three units of freely supplied fuel. Each unit regenerates 4 hours after you use it. You can earn extra / reserve fuel by doing Challenges or by buying it. Well I guess 3 missions in a four hour period is pretty fair.

Assault Horizon actually has classic AC controls, you just need to turn them on in the options menu. Although people didn't like the DFM thing.

Challenges are fairly easy to get done so as long as you're willing to use your extra fuel a bit you can keep getting more of it without spending real money. Also, by using the "paid" fuel that you earn through challenges or money you get more experience and research points for planes. Unfortunately, it uses fuel to play the single player missions and you have to spend in-game credits to buy each successive mission. You also don't get any research points out of the campaign missions, only credits.
Well I guess 3 missions in a four hour period is pretty fair.
Each mission lasts about 10 minutes at most. So far all the co-op missions have been timed and they have a rather short timer.

Really though, overall I'm enjoying the hell out of it, even with the free to play model limiting your play time.

You buy missions with credits that you earn doing missions? Seems a bit wonky, but whatever, given that it's free there's not too much room to complain.

Also yeah the forced dogfight mode for taking down bosses and heavy scripting was what turned me off of AH.

I just hope to see a full-fledged $60 sequel to the Strangereal universe. Or an HD remaster of Ace Combat 3 with all the cut content. Or both.

Only the campaign missions cost credits. The co-op missions only cost fuel.
