I've started watching a new Anime since a fews ago, called "Durarara!!". It has a weird theme, being centered in a modern city with all these crazy things going about, but with the occasional comic relief, it makes for an interesting story with a lovely set of characters. Highly recommended.

Thank you, Viktor. I've been looking for some time now for an anime series that might tickle my fancy like Bakemonogatari, FLCL and Katanagatari did, but I had been unsuccessful in finding one that seemed to mesh a generally good serious plot with whacky characters and a bizarre sense of comedy style...I think I've found one.

Edit: Just watched the first episode. I love this already.

Probably the only series *spoiler* that manages to make a headless woman somewhat sexy on occasion. *end spoiler*

Also, you both should probably check out "baccano!" if you guys end up really liking that show after seeing it all. It's a completely different story (based in 1930's U.S.) but it has the same writer and same general story telling pattern where everything just kinda unfolds gradually around you until you get the big picture.
