Which is why I'm introducing you to this awesome game called Broforce.
It's fucking balls to the wall insane and just plain awesome. Last I checked there was only local multiplayer which is a damn shame. Made in Unity and also South Africa.
PLAY IT HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
This is totally not a lame attempt on my part to steer this thread back to games and away from ganime
*Sheds single Eagle tear*
Let it be noted, pre-orders available, online multiplayer beta coming soon.

Broforce has actually been Greenlit.

More specifically, I'm playing Ys I + II.
I'm not sure I like the look of the 3D-esque Ysses very much. I suppose I'll have to take a tentative gander at those in a further future, after my wallet has healed from the summer sale.

Re: randomness
The newer Ys games got rid of the bump combat system. Partially because its archaic and can be a bit obtuse.Glabbit wrote:More specifically, I'm playing Ys I + II.

Re: randomness
I can imagine the bump system being a bit harder to work in the 3D environment.. though I don't understand why so many people dislike it. I rather quite love it.
Oh well, back to Ys II for now.
...ooh, fireballs!

MOS school. Some of these Sergeants are complete assholes. Not unexpected, but they take it too far. It's an unnecessary amount of blasting and knife-handing for us.

Trying to build a family of horse radishes.
Today Granpa Radish died of natural events.
Natural as in me eating him, because that's instinct.

I had sex with twelve chickens. This is how the eggs that you buy in the store are made.

Been watching Macross Frontier again and hearing the awesome soundtrack by Yoko Kanno again.
Not by Yoko Kanno, but also an awesome part of the soundtrack:
