That's a very good question.
To have more daylight during the day hours in winter.
That's something time can't change.
But i mean why does time go 1 hour forward when the days are getting longer then it's 10pm and there's still light wich makes no sense at all!!!
I searched a bit for it and it turns out companies get more profit this way......
Still makes no sense

Companies get more profit this way, because the days will have daylight during the day hours. SO people will stay in the city longer instead of going home.

You have to understand that daylight savings time has really next to nothing to do with any astronomical phenomena. It's just humans changing the numbers on their clocks because - thanks to civilization - we have decided to live by those numbers rather than actual sunlight.
In the past, a day was pretty much the time between dawn and sunset, the time with actual sunlight. The time without sunlight was night. Today a day starts at 7 am, when you get ready for work and lasts until maybe 9 pm, when you're done with dinner and prime-time TV is over.
Time does not jump forward or backward during Summer or Winter. We cannot change time. And we never will be able to change time. We are just setting our clocks differently.

Painkillers? Where's your sense of romance?
In my medicine cabinet. In the bottle of painkillers.

Damn!
That video was the last thing I needed now.

I haven't bought nay food for today because I'll be driving home later and my mother is determined to bring me back to my fight weight everytime I stop by.
Unfortunately I forgot that I still have to write an article for a magazine and finish a term paper. So now I have one egg, flour and a bit of milk to carry me through the day. I can't even make pasta with only one egg. I'm stuck with practically eggless pancakes. This is going to be rough.

The irony.... My last name is storms and there was a storm in the netherlands.
I still don't know when something is irony so i probably misused irony

Spoilers ahead if you're watching Kancolle:

So Kancolle ended with a bang in episode 12. I was a bit disappointed that the proper ships didn't sink in the strange real Battle of Midway (In Operation MI the four Japanese carriers were sunk during the battle, but they are main characters in the show...), but the writers were probably playing it safe not killing off viewer's favorite ship girls. They did promise a second season at the end of the episode so we'll see where they take it.

if you want information on the ships that participated, here's a start.
Spoilers end.

I've been a bit disappointed in anime this year playing it safe or just not sticking to their own plot lines (I'm looking at you Aldnoah.Zero). However, I enjoyed Kancolle overall because of the historical references and the characters.

For those of you that like anime music, Flying Dog is releasing the original soundtrack to the show as well as "character songs":

In some gaming news GOG.com has procured some awesome titles, a few caught my eye:
http://www.gog.com/game/death_to_spies - Russian Splinter Cell is how it feels so far.
http://www.gog.com/game/wings_of_prey_complete
http://www.gog.com/game/gurumin_a_monstrous_adventure
http://www.gog.com/game/indiana_jones_a ... erors_tomb - Fuck yes.
http://www.gog.com/game/act_of_war_gold_edition - Its like C&C Generals mixed with a lighter European Escalation.

Also, "Running With Rifles" has made it out of Early Access.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/270150/

I've bought it a while back when it was on sale and its a pretty good time to play coop with buds. I haven't dove into the multiplayer as much, but the massive objective based maps are fun.

I got sick of RwR once I shot an entire clip into a guy and he didn't die.

I don't know anything about guns besides 'pew pew pew'. That was pretty interesting.
Would it be murican of me to say I have developed an interest in going to a gun range at some point?

I'm from a country where you need a license to get a gun, where gun ownership is really restricted for private persons, I am not interested at all in ever getting a gun and I think that the ability to just walk into a store and get something as dangerous as a gun without any need of certification that you know how to handle and store it properly is stupid, and I still think that a day at a shooting range would be super fun.
