Ok, yes, I got that the 42 might indicate a Hitchhiker's reference, but I'm not clear on the significance of the "nd St E, Hell" bit.

The joke is partly how ridiculous you guys are with your over-analyzing and partially that it reminds me of all the funny things that happened in Hitchiker's Guide.

Hm. Well yes, whenever I see 42 I pretty much assume that it's a Hitchhiker's reference, though the rest was so random I thought it must be either a reference to either something I had forgotten in the book, or something else. I have to put that on my list of books to reread when I get the time. After Catch-22.
