The hotel I work at has started putting these "travel tip" cards in all the key packets. Mostly to inform guests that we're now helping save the environment and all our plastic bags are biodegradable and recyclable, etc, etc, etc.
Here's an example of one of those cards:
*******'s Travel Tips: #534
Consider taking your half used shampoo bottles from all your hotel vists and donate to charity in your home town. ****** ****** are 99% natural, biodegradable, & the packaging is recyclable.
Now, these shampoo bottles are put in every room every time the housekeepers clean them. They're 24mL sized bottles and you can get two, maybe three showers out of them (if you stretch it). Look giving to charity is good, but are they really going to take you seriously when you come in with all these tiny, half-empty bottles of shampoo?
