I felt all weird when it was over. Though it did feel a bit odd how she come to think of herself as "alive", it didn't feel quite right.

And yes, her hair-spawner is silly.

Why is it that it's nearly always the robots and AI nowadays that actually have character?

Slightly bigger than a large house cat, and I don't know.
Unfortunately, they can't handle heat above around 77 F, and they aren't considered domestic like, at all (meaning my Los Angeles apartment is out).
I tried too adwuga, I really did

D'aaaaaw! It's so adorable! It's just so god damn cute!!!

I dunno about Red Pandas, but foxes are legal in some states here. I'm wondering if the laws will change in more states now that the Russians have domesticated foxes. Like 13th or 15th animal on Earth to be domesticated and we even have a couple here in the US. In a zoo of course :\ It was an odd customs issue and the US government confiscated them, or something like that. Anyways, they're living in a zoo now, with minimal human contact. Which is something they've been bred to actually enjoy, now. Some of the undomesticated foxes I've seen like people a lot, but some are less social. If you look him up on Youtube, Gizmo is a really sociable pet fox.
Red Pandas, however, I have heard nothing about. If you could get to keep one somewhere, then it'd probably be unlikely that it would do well anywhere really warm. All that fur, probably'd overheat in a few days, if not sooner. But foxes do okay just about anywhere outside Death Vally and the Gobi. Maybe if you move to Alaska?

A fox would be cool. And yes, I do remember reading that National Geographic article about their domestication. I thought it was interesting, the traits that emerged not through crossbreeding, but through change of social and environmental role: the droopy ears, the patterns that emerged...very interesting stuff. A red panda would be a cool pet. You might be better off with a really chill cat though.
*sigh... :(

I love my cat and all, and I'm looking forward to a fox, but a red panda would be awesome. I don't care what anyone says, Jack. Get one, go to Russia if you have to. Follow your dreams, bro.

It's only fair since that's what they do to our dolphins.

Except dolphins are horrible monsters and contribute very little to the ecosystem.
