In my opinion, RvB lost its magic once it started using animations. It was good until it took itself too seriously.

The animated fight scenes are really fun to watch, though. I agree it was more entertaining to watch when it was just randomness, but I don't think it's taking itself too seriously- I still enjoyed the recent seasons.

Roosterteeth aren't a bunch of screenwriters though, they're gamers who have fun dicking around, and that's them at their funniest. I thought it was much more natural when nothing really happened. They're trying to make it a more serious series, but since they're not the best at it, the result is worse than it would be if they aimed a bit lower.

Yeah, I like them better back in the day too. New stuff is awesome and using cool animations is great, but the random stuff is just easier to laugh at.
Also, has anyone seen that Walking Dead game yet? Damn, that shit's awesome. I mean, that is the coolest point n click adventure I have seen yet. They used a few quick time events though, and that was disappointing as they also used very cool means for making the player panic and have to work hard to make cool scenes happen.
Seriously, go watch a Let's Play or something. Or better yet, just go buy it because it looks amazing and the gameplay is awesome looking. And for once, the appearances aren't a disappointment.
