Meh, I see the US going to the same way. Just that we're sheltered, so it'll be worse when we hit rock bottom and slam through the floor.

Meh. I'll just get rich and be super elite, so it's kind of in my favor.

Til the middle class rises up, overthrows the government and shoots you for being rich.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the US Government has outlawed the act of overthrowing the US Government?

Rather, till they try that, and we destroy them with our expensive weaponry and our genius, since the really smart people are all rich.

NO FUCKING WAY!
It's also illegal to assassinate the president!

Do your highly expensive machineries work in the sewers? Do they work in your houses, in the middle of the night, when no one knows we're there?

I think you're missing the point. A government outlaws it's people from overthrowing it.
Now, let's assume, for a moment, that this country's founding documents provide the right of the people to overthrow their government if they feel it has become unjust or unhealthy for them.
Now, do you think that anyone who is truly intending to overthrow their government gives a rat's ass if said government outlaws said activity? No. It's a useless law because the people who would rebel aren't going to follow the rest of your laws and don't care what you say.
Derp political reasoning.

Well if the law wasn't there, the government wouldn't be legally allowed to stop the overthrowal.

They are obsolete because they lack noses and are therefore highly susceptible to destruction by crowbar.

These aren't manhacks, these are more like the robots from i-robot, except they can shrink, they are quieter, they can fly, they have insane hearing, vision, night vision, thermal vision, bounce laser vision(to see around corners), X-ray vision, etc., and they are individual units, so no taking down central command thing. And we have a fuck tonne more.

And we have force fields, which keep poor people out, as well as protect us.

So, you essentially have a massive army of sentient robots capable of destroying the human race that is entirely not under your command.
Congrats, I can see that MIT education really pays for itself.

Not under my command, our(rich peoples) command. I said there is no central command for the poor people to destroy, so they would have to kill every last rich person to win.
