Free image hosting?

Post by invertin » Sat May 05, 2007 4:23 am

I need a new place to host images, other than imageshack and photobucket. After my dad cleared out the computer, he also cleared out the cookies, now I cannot log into my photobucket account no matter what I do. I can't use imageshack as I've already tried but I never got the activation email. And please, don't say freewebs. You know how much trouble I had with that.

Have you checked to see if your father enabled "Deny All Cookies" in the browser preferences?

And can't you just log in manually?

Tried that, didn't get the email.

Then ask for your password! Click 'I forgot my password', they'll generate a new one for ya and send it to your e-mail address.

And you don't have it written down or in your filesystem somewhere? :?

I keep all my passwords in a booklet.

I keep all my passwords in.... actually I only have like 2 different passwords.. sometimes I switch a letter with a number.

Wait, are you guys one of those people that make passwords with a bunch of random numbers and letters in it?

I'll take that as a "Yes, and I'm still stuffed"?

Unfortunately I think I'll have to wait another 12 years to psychically find your password like I did with a four number phone passcode. Actually, scrap that, I just realised it was "1337". Goddammit, I thought I was psychic!

He just said that his computer got wiped, so that would:

A: Stop him from recieving emails because that got wiped also.

B: It also counts as "Something wrong on your side"

I don't see why he can't just re-enter his email though… Into <insert generic mail app here> that is.

Actually, that might not be why he isn't getting the email. It might be though. Ack, the might be/might not be conundrum!

Why would having your hard drive wiped screw up your e-mail?

You can access your e-mail from anywhere, it's on the internet.

Well assuming that you have an email account that you have to pay for, such as Eartlink or Comcast. Then you'll need an email client to actually access your email. You could access your email from a web browser, assuming that your provider gives you access to that site.

It wouldn't. It would however wipe the records of it from your hard drive, and you might have trouble re-entering it if you didn't write it down somewhere.
