...A push pin is a type of thumbtack, according to Wikipedia, so, screw you all. :P Everyone always calls 'em thumbtacks when they see me with 'em.

Usagi still wins, though. *applauds*

Is this issue finally over now? Can we somehow manage to bring this thread back onto the issues previously at hand?

If you like MP and LOTR, check this out. It's hilarious.

I've been able to see that without you mentioning it :D my philosophy is to help people whenever you can, even if you go unrewarded. If you aren't rewarded there and then, you'll probably be rewarded somewhere down the line. Also, making people laugh is occasionally one of my ways of helping :D

You mean can you wash your hands of the argument you in fact started and spurred on?

Sure why not.

I do, however, agree with your sentiments about drug legality. And you have pretty good grammar for a 12 year old.
Lollllll just read that.

Anyway, I have a philosophy.

My philosophy :

Don't start arguments where you're likely to dig yourself into a massive hole.

Oh, and also,

Chickens.

Don't forget:

If you find yourself in a hole: stop digging.

Oh, and also: potatoes, or patatos, or whatever.

I propose a collaboration of both chickens AND potatoes/potatos.

You mean like the dinner I usually have on sundays? :D Chicken, potatoes and other assorted veg XD

Anywho, another personal philosophy of mine (that is, I tend to do it myself but I wouldn't reccomend anyone else do it XD) is to keep your own problems to yourself, and help others first :D That's what I do almost all of the time. So many people that I have to help so I put aside my own problems while I deal with theirs.

Like wise, but in constructive ways. I hate Jibba jabba Humor, like Bro Town. I like to crack a joke in the middle of Something important, as so the situation is not taken too extreme and builds tension between people, I like to use Humor to melt away barriers, and get people to think.

Also, I use to be picked on by a group of emos. I discovered a powerful weapon to use on them. it was not a Spade, or a Mouse pad, but a Good joke.

Thats right, at school I use to make emos laugh for the fun of it.

I believe in doing the kiwi way and help those in distress and in need. But I do not deal with there problems. I help them, but there is only one person who can deal with there problems and thats them.

But I am a little like you in that way. only once did I really ever tell everyone on here about my problems.

I suppose my phrasing came out a little wrong. What I mean by dealing with their problems is I give them advice on how to deal with their problems. So actually I should have said "Giving advice to those with problems" instead of "Dealing with their problems". I suppose I'm kind of a consultant in that way ^_^

Now how did I let this one slip under the radar - and how come we're suddenly talking about the martial application of thumb-tacks? Also I was under the impression that killing someone was a bad thing - generally resulting in a hard time, or execution if you live in a madhouse like North Korea or Texas.

Generally my view is that things run more smoothly if other people like you or at least don't dislike you, so even if you're completly selfish the logical thing is to be nice to others, even if what goes around never seem to come around. Not that I'm not compassionate enough to see things from the point of view of others, the point is that in my view "man created God in his image" (Xenophane) and that the concepts of "Good" and "Evil" are equally manufactured - I believe that it's every person's duty to construct their own belief system with their own notions of what's right and wrong, and that to swallow a pre-packaged one would be a most heinous crime, since even the best intentions can be corrupted: the role of the philosopher is thus not to enforce his belief on others but to encourage others to think for themselves, and politely contest those who would favour ingorance and intolerance.
