Fable...the video game

anyone have it? anyone getting it when the Mac version is released by Feral? I finally bought it the other day after playing it numerous times at friends' houses...still fun, if a little hard at points

anyways, just getting more creative discussion going!

Feral fails on Fable. They just postponed the release again and again without a word.
Can't find any release date.

They've had a lot of issues with the direct X 9 code, thats the reason its taking them forever.

yeah, Coli, I agree with ya, i have hell getting some games to work on Vista, like C&C Generals won't work and though our computer meets the reqs, BY A LOT, Black and White 2 lags like HELL, but anyways, i'm mostly asking that, in a situation where the Mac version finally comes out or you Xbox owners decide that it's finally cheap enough for you to buy, would you get it? and WHERE'S THE HYPE MAN?!?!?!

So by the time you get Fable, a only mediocre rpg, we'll be getting Fable 2?

wellm, you guys can always hope...after 3 years of playing a ton of times at different friend's houses, i bought it anyways...to me it just doesn't get old easily...today i took one of my files taht's hardly anywhere mission-wise and went on a killing spree...it was fun! Man, HEADS FLEW EVERYWHERE!!! BLOOD WAS DRAWN!!! MWAHAHA!!! lol

but seriously, who would buy it? im personally not looking forward to Fable 2, i feel like it's not going to be as great because of 2 things:
1. it's a sequel to a video game that won more than the game of the year award in more than 10 places
2. the idea's already been implemented into the original and generally, that means that something's bound to fall short, and in general, that something tends to be the storyline

I had a lot of fun with Fable, and it is cool that it is coming to Mac. For some reason in RPGs I always end up with a good character who wears evil-looking equipment.

I've watched my friend play Fable on the Xbox. We have a couple funny gesture/spell combos that we mess around with:

Force Fart: A mix of the Force Field spell and fart gesture (blows enemies away!)

The Most Awesome Flip Off Ever: A mix of the Flip Off gesture and Lightning spell.

Wow. Didn't see that one coming; its not like Turner is a dark brooding anti-hero struggling against inner demons but essentially just trying to do the right thing
