Not generally a fan of "death metal". I generally find the screaming/shouting lyrics to be extremely annoying, honestly. I find it a bit pretentious really. What's Death Metal anyway? I don't understand why they call it that. =/

*** Biffy Clyro are a Scottish rock band who are becoming pretty big lately although they've been around since about 1995.

Good songs to download are "Saturday Superhouse" and "Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies"

*** Silverstein is a "Post-Hardcore" band from Canada, and I just started listening to them last week. They're pretty good.

Good songs to download are "Giving Up" and "Smashed Into Pieces".

*** Duke Special is a singer from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He's pretty fantastic and has been gaining huge acclaim lately.

Good songs to download are "Freewheel" and "Last Night I Nearly Died (But I Woke Up Just In Time)".

Ima Robot rocks. They have awesome lyrics. I don't really know what to classify them as...maybe industrial/punk/metal? That's the best thing I can think of.

Sounds about right. I also like "Paint The Town Red". I found them on MySpace (oh no). They're pretty great anyway, and they've got an original sound.
