Just read any of Ulti's posts...you'll get a whole family tree and history about the hippogryph Betsy and her family.

Hyppogryphs are basically Griffins/Gryphons/Griphons/Grifons.

Cos thats how its spelt perhaps?

Hippogryph == Hippogriff

The child of a gryphon and a mare. Or as Wikipedia likes to say "when pigs fly" :shock: as gryphons classically eat horses. I don't know about anyone else, but i'm disinclined to sleep with my lunch.

Wait a sec. How the hell did this thread get so far off topic?

Blast you Grayswandir! Blast you all to hell!* :o

*Assuming there is one of course. Which seems unlikely, so pick somewhere unpleasent.

Oh, I was thinking:

Hippogryph - Noun - A giant hippo with birds feet, feathers, and the wings of a bird. Foams at the mouth and spouts off movie phrases in the wrong order. Never walk under one when it is flying.

Hippogryph, hippogriff, hip-poe-gree-f, hypnogryph, phynogriff, see saw, saw saw, saw see, seed saw, sawed see who saw saw in the crosstalk phase variance of the robo-kinetic bat-fleas in microscopic hypnogrifff....bzzzzzbzbzbbzzzzzzzt? Help cure world hunger, eat a homeless person.

It’s de rigueur among the Arachnid class, although the sequence is usually: 1. Arachnid Intercourse 2. Arachnid Appetizers 3. Arachnid Entrée

Surely you meant, "Bless you Grayswandir! Bless you into the arms of 32 virgins (or white almonds; the authorities differ on this point) for maintaining the level of randomness we've come to expect here at Lugaru Madness! :D"

It's gotten to the point on this forum when I have no idea what a thread will be about because the title is always misleading.

Kinda makes things interesting.

I just sort of have to remember what each thread is currently talking about. Going on holiday or not going on for a day really messes this up.
