Yeah, I get the whole "you can't own living beings" thing, but in all honesty, I do own my cats. And it's a good thing, 'cause if I didn't they would be hungry and cold and maybe dead. Anyway, for all you knew he was referring to "his" cat in the same way he would refer to "his" family.

That's exactly what my post was commenting on.
I don't own my school, do I? Or my sister.
Which is a shame really, life would be much easier with a sister-slave.

Life would probably be easier without all the stupid people too. Oh well.

"My mum" bought it with her money for us so that we, "her children" could have a pet to play with.
Therefore it is "our pet".

Do you have one of those parents that tell their kids their pet is part of their family? I mean, not just a little part of the family like some stray dog they rescued off the street or something, but a serious, "that cat is your brother, if you call it names, you're getting in trouble".
Or is this just something you thought up all by yourself. That cats are some how totally aware you're calling them Fluffy, and that is some kind of modern day slavery.
I have to say, it is sounding a little weird to act this way about cats.
My cat cost $50, it is black, we call it Arnie.

I foresee a very tragic incident somewhere between your 12th and 15th birthday.

You sick bastard…
And FYI, the resident cat here came to live here without any transaction of any kind, and originated probably on the back of some guy's trailer, before being cat-a-pulted into the bush.

If you 'liberate' domestic animals into the wild, most of them will live short painful lives and then die.

I know cats that have lived to be 20-ish. But in general, yeah. It's gonna die.

My cat is a b*tch. She'll go from all happy, snuggly to "I'm going to rip out your brain with my claws."
But then my parents had her declawed (I rarely see her unless I'm visiting my parents these days) so its more, "I'm going to clean your ears with my stub." But she'll look for any reason to attack and maim somone...kinda funny...

My sister has got a cat that always attacks me. And JUST ME. And it bites into my hand. Heavily. For fun.
Also, when we're outside in front of the living room window, the cat gets in front of it (from inside), stands up and cleans the window with its front paws. For minutes. It's hilarious.
And my parents have this cat that's all white (not an albino though), and it's deaf. The funny thing is, calling it obviously doesn't make any sense, but my parents do it anyway when they can't find it.

I hate people who declaw cats.
