Ah, Blink 182. That takes me back.

Pretty sobering lyrics given a relatively upbeat melody. I like the quieter guitar sections that transition into vocals backed by drum/bass lines, it lends a lot of structure to the song. It's a pretty 'stable' song, if that makes sense- the basic beat is very consistent and there are few instruments added until you hear a bit of that piano towards the end. Great build-up to the final repeat of the chorus. All in all it has a lot of elements of the typical kind of pop/punk rock song, though it'd be silly to call it 'generic' given the artist, so I'll have to give it a 7/10. I wouldn't skip it over if it came up on my playlist, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it :P

Ah, Avenged Sevenfold, one of those bands that no matter how I try I can't classify any other way than 'emotional music for lonely teens pretending to not be depressed'. I was going to say 6/10 right out of the box, knowing them to be of fair quality but fairly generic, but after giving it a fair listen and hearing some bits I liked, it wouldn't be fair to give it any less than a 6.5/10

Here's a flavour of music you don't meet quite as often. Try this:
Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back - Magic Nanna

Edit: Note to self: Look up synonyms to 'fair'

I really enjoy this song. Its easy to listen to and pleasing to my ears. It isn't too long and doesn't out stay its welcome. I am currently listening to it again as I write this post.

Pretty neat blend of the guitar with more orchestral elements, and the vocals are really pleasing to listen to. It sounds like it should be the final song to conclude a game or movie. 7/10

Let's speed up the process of this becoming a shitpost thread or an "I HATE *Insert social minority or person here*" shall we?

I love this song:

It'll only be a shitposting thread if you turn it into one Phoenix.

Anyway, Jewish Reggae artist, pretty awesome, I've heard a couple of his songs and really enjoyed them.
7/10.

Sorry for two Blink-182 songs in a row, I really like this song though.

7 or 8/10,

Love the instrumental, and lyrics keep the tone perfectly.

Damn, love/hate this song at the same time:

I see what you mean about the "love/hate". The beginning was decent, then the guy started making noise. That's about as far as I got before I turned it off. 5/10.

6 or 7/10.

That was posted in 2013 but it does NOT sound like it was posted in 2013...

I love it.
