Is this game related to Shadow of the Collossus in any way? I think I heard it mentioned somewhere when they were talking about SotC... ?

*raises hand at playing halo*

From what I've played so far, it's a great game… Well, except for the painful lack of marines after the level I'm on (343 Guilty Spark) according to some place on the interwebbythingy.

On the other hand, multiplayer is awesome.

However, seeing as I lack an Xbox (Or vista, which apparently sucks anyway) Halo 2 isn't gonna show it's much less lonely self (I get lonely when I've got a lack of NPCs to hang around with…).

silent hill all teh way my brotha!

and enh, I found SotC interesting and yet not, it was all bosses and the majority of them required you to climb up them somehow and hit them on the neck/head just to be thrown back down to start over until it ws dead...

Uh, yeah, Ico is related to Shadow of the Colossus; SotC is the spiritual successor to Ico. (It's made by the same team)
I only played a demo of Ico, but I liked the little bit I saw.

I recently finished SotC, it's an amazing game.
Everything comes together so beautifully, the animation, the atmosphere, the music...
And the battles against the colossi are awesome; epic, exhilarating and a lot of fun.

The other games I think everybody should check out have already been mentioned.

You clearly have not played both games.

The artwork and gameplay of Ico has many similarities to Shadow Of The Colossus, namingly because they were both made, as the Zaphon said, by the same team.

Lol it's funny, because just before I saw Shadow Of The Colossus and Ico mentioned, I was about to mention Shadow Of The Colossus.

I agree with Zaphon, it's a very beautifully done game.

There are "bosses" in Halo? Considering they're not significantly more difficult than the normal enemies, I don't think you should call them that.

Who said anything about comparing Halo and SotC?

Silent Hill was running around and collecting keys and other items so that you could progress along with shooting enemies unless you died in which case you started over until they were dead...umm..

So what was the reason SotC was bad again?

apparently, i'm a born gamer because i was playing on the sega master system 2 when i was 2... which i have to admit that for its time it was pretty good because it had a default game built in...SONIC THE HEDGEHOG(original)

You are only born a gamer if your first word is "PWNED!!!".

Then again, in that day and age that probably would've counted as being born a gamer.

My first game ever: I STILL DON'T KNOW! :(

It was either doom or the original sonic the hedgehog, but according to my memory, the first thing I did in response to seeing the games wasn't "WTF is this!?" it was "Whats to attack?".

For sonic the hedgehog someone had to explain that the jump was the attack while on Doom I knew what to do but kept dying due to my young wimpishness.

Also. My first words were: "PRESS A TO JUMP!"
