Indeed.
Rayman
...no.
Lugaru (Ha Ha!)
Halo 1,2, and 3
No!
Starfox Adventures
Agreed.
Ghost Recon
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
NBA Street
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
Hell no.

There are far more outstanding titles than the ones you mentioned there, at least in my opinion.

Bioshock is an ok game, worth playing but not scary at all
Halo games...the first was the best, two had great multiplayer and three is dull
Hitman games are amazing
I want Kane and Lynch so badly *drools*

The Hitman series are one of my favorites. There are some subtleties in programming that are really interesting, and the series is hilarious, immersive and dark at the same time.

What's interesting to debate is how to decide which games should be played by any player at some point. I have some criteria for you:

- Novelty in game play (has to deliver though)
- Fun factor
- Immersion

I got Call Of Duty 4 yesterday.

AWESOME!

The first mission you're on a boat and have to get something (I wasn't paying much attention in the briefing) anyway, we found the nuclear bomb and took the plans because there wasn't enough time to take the whole bomb. Then the terrorist helicopter pilots blow a hole in the boat while you and the other SAS guys run for your life.

Holes and boats don't mix.

That part was fun.

I'm pretty sure he intended for them to be spelled that way.

PAC MAN!

How can you call your self a gamer without a game of pacman or pong or som'm under your belt? For all you OSX users, here's a souped up clone to download. It keeps me busy...

I like that PacMan clone. I love games that take place in mazes. Especially 3D ones. Maze Wars FTW! Yes, it's the one with Ass-Kicker Missiles.
