The Virtual Boy

Don't even tell me what you thought when you read this....Coli...no jokes, man...you and some other peoples have problems with that...

anyways, it was supposed to be the first portable system with 3D graphics using infrared. (the red and blue type of 3D...) It was basically Nintendo's fill-in and came out about half-a year to a year before the N64. It wasn't very popular because it became known to cause eye problems and because of the way it was designed no one could watch you play, thus killing social aspects. The last reason it never became popular is, because of the way it was made, games couldn't easily be ported (it used a whole new, weird graphics system) and thus none were, so only games exclusive to the VB came out (which came out to about 20 or so in the end of production).

also, they go for about...$50-$60 on Ebay with some games...I'm thinking about getting one...not sure yet

They're horrible systems,. and there aren't many games out for it because it flopped in the US market at least.
