I haven't seen you in ages!
Unless I did and forgot.
Yeah, pity it'll come out on the Mac like 5 years from now, if ever ... didn't it take 3 years for Halo to reach mouse and keyboards anyway??nerodx wrote:.BTW, i heard halo 2 got more money then the first. Halo 3 will do great

Well, I have triggered them to go insane on me several times (Deliberately), though I haven't heard "Marines, the Master Chief has gone homicidal, take him out!" from cortana yet… Maybe that was just some freakin' great voice acting on a flash I saw…invertin wrote:Thats not what I meant. Have you ever killed an ally in the bridge on the pillar of autumn? The marines don't take too kindly.BunnyWithStick wrote:Invincible marines? You can kill every one of them on a rampage, you know. Easy as pie, too.
Anyway, are you sure killing just one of them will trigger them to go haywire? Makes sense if you're on the bridge, especially if you kill the captain… *runs off to try it, then remembers he's too lazy*
Ahhhh… That's when cortana says that! *runs off to try it*

Then you completely missed the point. Every FPS I've ever played during the Xbox and PS2 era, they've always had some kind of new feature to make it different from the others. Which is fine, but some people want to play the game where you shoot things, not the game where you have to tell people to shoot things for you (although squad based combat is pretty cool).Blorx wrote:they're the same as every other FPS out there
Halo is the most generic FPS ever made, and what most people don't seem to understand is that that was the whole point.
Plus, true halo fans want to know what happens next.

Not true, they're the only FPSes I've seen so far that have vehicles (Vehicles pwn! Best idea ever.)Blorx wrote:…they're the same as every other FPS out there…
Ahem, Vehicles Pwn! Best Idea Ever! That's something special, right?Blorx wrote:…nohing special bout it…
Even if an FPS I haven't played has vehicles, I doubt it'll have something equivalent to auto-recharging energy shields (Healthpacks should never be the only way to regain HP.)

woah, you need to get out more...vehicles weren't exactly a new idea in Halo...they're in most of the Delta Force games and ALL of the Battlefield games...BunnyWithStick wrote:Not true, they're the only FPSes I've seen so far that have vehicles (Vehicles pwn!
