I didn't say or imply that it was so uncivilised, but calling jokes like that among friends "uncivilised" is just being pompous and snobbish to be honest. You sound like some posh British person who should be having some tea and crumpets and wearing petticoats.

Why would telling a mildly uncivilized joke mean you're uncivilized?

I think you might be confused, I'm not saying you're uncivilized, it's just the joke that's a little uncivilized. You wouldn't tell it to a five year old kid, would you? If you would, I take back what I said about you being just as civilized as anyone else.

I see you very conveniently left out "Posh". Not all british people are posh, in fact a lot of them are quite the opposite, and would of course be telling jokes and laughing about with their mates all night long.

Yeah sorry I left out the word "posh" by mistake. I don't need you to tell me what British people are like. I'm Irish. I know a lot more about British people than you do my friend.

The word you're looking for is "juvenile" not "uncivilized"...nothing wrong with juvenile...
