Exactly, most indie devs can't do that. They just continue doing it because it's fun, and because they can get money from it (Fun + Money = Dream Job. We all know this).

What part do you agree with, exactly?

The part where Notch will continue doing it for fun because he's not the real game developer?

The part where Notch will continue making games for fun, and won't try making money from them because then making them is no longer fun?

Or something else entirely?

Mostly this, even though I have no problems with developers making money from their games (Since they need food too).
