Because choice is a bad thing. I HATE it when people give me access to free stuff!

Good point.
But epic fail.
I don't like the games that make you pay to get the full experience (Extra weapons, customizable characters, etc.) because then everyone goes around bragging that they can afford a little helmet when I can't.
It's not my fault I use money for important things.
^
That was the point I was trying to make.
PAY
MORE
ATTENTION!

Because buying different games is important.
If you don't want to subscribe to the full version, then...don't subscribe to it and just use the free version. They're not telling you that you have to waste your money on it.

I'm on a salary of £10 a month, do you really think I'd spend all of that on games?
Lately you've reminded me of 479.. But, it gives me someone to argue with.

Games in which you pay for something and then pay more for certain things instead of just a regular set of payments to get the whole thing (In the case of MMOs) or just one payment to get the whole thing (In the case of anything else) just aren't good games. They cause strife between people who have bought the game. Instead of bragging rights because you bought the game, other people who've bought the game start bragging about how they've bought the game, but "Did it for real" by getting this whole new tier of "How much you've bought the game". Sometimes, people want to consider themselves as having bought the game and not have to pay any more in order to still get the "Ah, I've bought it, time to relax…" feeling.
Unless non-money-related ways of getting toricredits in Toribash are obscenely slow, Toribash is the best of both worlds. Once V3 arrives, if you want to pay to quickly get toricredits, you can do that. If you don't, you don't have to.

Lately, you and nerodx have said a lot of ridiculous things, and I've chosen to point these out. No offense meant, you just say a lot of things that really show your age. Lol it's just silly to say you hate something for giving you the option of playing it for free...that's like hating a person for giving you money.

It's not the free part I don't like.
It's the rest of it that you have to pay for.
Most of the time it doesn't add much to the game anyway.

Yeah so you shouldn't even care, you're not even missing out on any new content. They're giving you an entire game for free and all they want in return is that, if you want to, you can purchase in-game items that show everyone your support.
That's what they did for Soldat too. You get the entire game for free, but if you want, you can pay to register the game. All you would get for that is different colored jet flames and a little star by your name.
I paid for those black flames and yellow star.
I think there's nothing wrong with that. When you're making a game that's basically multi-player only and you're actually making more money by putting the game out for free, dude go for it.
