Boo hoo. There's hundreds of girls in your life time that you will meet and fancy, and most likely not a lot of them will be people that it's convenient to talk to at all. It's going to happen often, so my advice would be to get used to fancying a lot of girls you won't really have a chance to get to know due to whatever circumstances you're both in.

My school's social latter (Popular being at the top):

Gangstas:
This group is mostly black (Not to sound racist). Some of these people are in gangs, but I think the majority isn't.

Preps:
Mostly upper-class white people. If i wasn't picked on by the "Gangstas" group so much I would hate this group the most. I used to be friends with these people and then I was left in the cold due to one person (Sorry to sound emo...I have issues). Wears clothing like "Aerocrombie" (AKA cool clothes)

Emos:
We all know emos.... At my school, the ratio of race is balanced between whites and blacks. Emo people are pretty damn cool to me.

W.A.P:

Weird Ass People, they look emo but they are not. They have traits of emos and nerds. The group is pretty much liberal.

Nerds:
Mostly white people. People in this group get along with anyone that is willing to talk to them. I consider myself a nerd.

Losers:
They hang out with anyone. "Wanna-be"s I should say.
------------

Undefined:
Some people can belong in two or more of these groups. People that are undefined tend to be very popular.

Skaters:
Skaters don't really care about social status that much. They come from every group I've listed.

Someone who can hang out with someone just because they want to (rather than stupidly trying to clump people into moronic little sections) seems like a better person than any of the other "groups" you've defined.

Ignore the social system, then you can do what you want and make everyone uncomfortable at the same time...that's what I used to do...great stuff.

I'm pretty sure you mean Abercrombie, and here in Ireland it's quite popular..

I belong to none of the groups you listed. I wear DC and Vans skate shoes with track-suit pants and silly hoodies. Some people try to define me but it doesn't really work, since one person calls me a chav, one person calls me a skater, one person calls me a scumbag and another will call me a "GAA-head" (which over here means you play a lot of sports). I listen to any music from trad music to rap music to rock music to classical music and I wear anything from "emo" hoodies...

(((((notice quotation marks around "emo" which indicate my loathing of that pop-slang word which is just basically the new "goth", i.e. the term people love to slap on the people they dislike which then manifested itself into people thinking emo means something which it originally most likely did not mean and then all these kids going around with the same hairstyles to fit into the one trend, and then other people with even slightly similar hairstyles being caught in the crossfire and linked to the label, much to their annoyance and utter contempt of the people who even speak the word "emo". I HATE people who call everyone they don't like "emo"..."Oh Linkin Park are fucking emo!".....LINKIN PARK WERE AROUND BEFORE YOU KNEW THE WORD "EMO" EXISTED MORON..okay that's enough.)))))

..anyway as I was saying I wear anything from "emo" hoodies to skater shoes to scumbag/chav-like tracksuit pants..what does this make me?

yeah, RT, I think he was trying to mix Abercrombie and Aeropostale...I wear whatever which usually consists of cargo shorts, some random tshirt and occasionally a hoodie, emo or not...I also like wearing flip-flops but when it gets cold I'll have no choice

people usually call me either a skate punk or music freak...all depending on the person :P

I wear cargo shorts too. Especially with my badass dark & light blue DC's and my lovely Enter Shikari-esque hoodie.

I constantly wear jean or shorts with t-shirts that have sayings I find funny on them...each day is a different t-shirt...and I don't care that other people wear some of the shirts I have... :P

Finger Eleven, Foo Fighters, In Flames, Alter Bridge, Hinder, Trapt, Shinedown, Korn, and a lot more are much better than LP and JT combined, imo

I don't usually go for saying one band is better than another. Maybe you like one band more than another, but that is not an indication of superiority. Many people like many different things. The thing about me is I like almost everything. I had a Pussycat Dolls song on my iPod. But then I also have Rage Against The Machine's discography and Jeff Buckley's discography on my iPod, so yeah, I like anything catchy.
