MUDs

I have recently become intrested in MUDs (multi user domain, right?)

I have a few questions though, as i understand it Muds are text based and are acessed by SHH or TELNET.

If this is right, then I could connect to a MUD from terminal right?

Do you know of any good MUD clients? Are there clients?

NEED MORE KNOWLEDGE!!
