What SONG are you listening to?

Post by Faz » Fri Jan 02, 2015 7:05 am

Well I love listening to and playing music. And i'm sure some of you mother folkers (<- forgive) out there do too. So... i propose this thread. Pretty self explanatory, can yadiggit?

I'll go first.

I found that if you post full URL and remove the 's' from 'https' you can embed properly with the 'YouTube' button feature.

Enter Shikari and Flight Facilities both have new albums out, which are pretty amazing:

Me right now.

I love that funk-house-electronic style so much.
Works really well for dancing, too. Half of my Foxtrot playlist consists of stuff like that.

What the hell is up with Australia recently? They (especially the Future Classic label) fire out incredible music non-stop.
Chet Faker is probably my favourite right now. Everything that guy touches turns to gold.
His studio music is awesome:

The video is pretty watchable too, isn't it?

His live appearances are absolutely breathtaking:

His Live Sessions EP is still out there for free (Link and the official SoundCloud upload for our listening pleasure) with the songs Archangel, No Diggity and my favourite, Love and Feeling. Check out the build-up during that song:

The way those guys play during that session is mesmerizing. The drummer is absolutely killing it. Great Stuff!
