The walking game

Post by Sargon » Sat Jan 26, 2008 1:42 pm

Ok its not really an interactive game.
I have made a small demo in which the character is doing some walking animation.
I would like you to test it?
It requires latest DirectX9(februery 2007), if you don't have it installed you will get a error message box saying you are missing "dx9_**.dll".
The demo should run on 60 FPS, but I suspect it might be too slow for not strong GPUs, so I want to test it.
You can see the FPS in the top left corner of the screen.
Please tell me the FPS you get and your graphics card.
If you get an error dialog box, please fill in the details and press send error, so the dialog sends an email to me with the error.
The download might not be available for a long period, so just check the link to see if it is still available.

Thank you.

Yea i was told that by someone else as well.
I think it does not fully support shader model 2, only have partial support.

Well, implement a fallback renderpath then.

I didnt understand you.
The demo requires the latest directX9 installed (febuery 2007) and a shader model 2 graphics card.

Father: *looking out window* One day, lad, all this will be yours...

Son: What? The curtains?

Father: *slaps son upside the head* no, not the curtains...
