I find Xbox live a complete ripoff...

The second reason I don't have it is because I don't have an xbox either...

Well then you would say that since you don't have an XBox, wouldn't you?

That's like not owning a mansion and then saying you hate mansions...you're obviously going to be saying you hate them because you don't have enough money for them, aren't you? There should be a word for it, but there's not. I call it Being-Bitter-About-Not-Having-Stuff.

No, No, No... I used to have an Xbox but I got bored with it, so I was considering xbox live, but then the fact that you had to PAY EXTRA for it put me off so I sold it to a friend, who is now very happy with it, and also very purposefully does not have xbox live...

Although I understand why you said that.
'cos I hadn't said all this yet...


It was very fun while it was still fun, though...

Rofl I'm quite happy with XBox Live. It's well worth the money. Especially considering the online service for PS3 is horrible. And for PS2 it was horrible back when I used it.

Anyway, playing online is ten times the experience of playing by yourself. You're playing against real people as opposed to AI. People who can completely whoop your ass, which AI generally can't do.

Getting an ass-whooping is quite fun, actually.

Although, yes, you have to pay for it, $7 a month isn't too bad...if you have a job. I have more fun playing with people online than I do by myself, especially if friends can't visit or live out of state. You just have to find the right crowd to play with.
