of course they are, but apple started this "classification" by it's own, through advertising Macintosh.
anyway i wouldn't bother playing games on Mac, there are only 1 -2 good games which supports ios :P

besides this, pcs are open, as i mentioned

Macs run windows natively now, or whatever OS you like through bootcamp. There is no "open" or "closed" anymore and this whole discussion is outdated.

i didn't meant the Software only, Mac isn't open! U can't upgrade your Hardware or buy additional pieces without purchasing your needs though Licensed Hardware manufacturer. Apple develops its own software and let produce its own Hardware-Systems.

You made a good point with bootcamp, but its not enought to reject the whole discussion, because its far away from beeing "outdated"

Now, back to topic.
