Um.. Help? Please?

Post by invertin » Sun Apr 27, 2008 11:41 am

I've got to write an essay. In on wednesday. (day after the day after tommorow)

Problem is, I have NO idea how to start it. I was going to resort to "I am writing this essay because-" But the teacher explicitly said not to do that.

It's an essay about trickery in Much ado about Nothing.

I always suck with essays. They're so restricted. I like freedom.

There was another place I could go for help.. But.. Erm..
A KID FRIENDLY STORY:
Quote:
There was a man with a chainsaw in the park. A man dropped some litter. The remains of the man was found two days later painted on a tree. DON'T LITTER KIDS OR THE CHAINSAW WILL GET YOU!
..Yeah...

Well...you're the one who read the book or whatever it is, so I can't help you that much, buuuut...what do you think about the trickery in it? Maybe start out by saying who does the tricking, and who's most notorious for it, and what purpose it serves in the novel (I'm just going to assume it's a novel).

Just do something like that, and back up what you say with quotes from the novel or references to key plot points.

You don't know about much ado about nothing?

It's a shakespearian play, but I don't know what they teach you over there so it's understandable.

You should look up information on Shakespear and then write about how his play was really messed up because he had mental problems and was not right in the head. You should also use a pie graph showing the relation between Shakespear's mental state and the play you're writing about, remember to label it "Pac-Man graph". Teachers like pie graphs.

Shakespearean^ not Shakespearian
Shakespeare^ not Shakespear

We did do Shakespeare in school. I did The Merchant Of Venice and Macbeth. Never heard of that one you mentioned. It must not be one of the more popular ones, I could have named about 10 others but not that one.

Grayswandir is kinda evil...

You've never heard of Shakespear? He was a wonderful plagiarist of Shakespeare and married a wonderful woman by the name of Edda Bears. Unfortunately, Shakespear kept confusing who he was plagiarizing and he cut off Edda's (whom he called "Teddy" and "Cuddly Bug" at the time) ear and then gave it to her on their wedding day. He died at the age of 32 a day later when Edda bit him just a bit too hard before letting her cubs eat him.

...sure...

All I've read about shakespeare is Macbeth and Othello (was that the name?)

And the only fact I know about him is that I always thought he was gay, then we found a very sexual book that tells us many things. It had a list of gay, lesbian, and bisexual celebrities. Shakespeare was under bisexual. I was close...

Haha, yeah, and it was me too. I don't think I've gotten angry about anything on these forums until now. :P
I'd read your spelling correction and my first thought was, "Oh, fuck you."
