So what's going on here? I only recently heard of such things, so now I ask:

What's a Title for?
How do you earn a Title?
Who gives you the Titles?

1. Nothing, really. Novelty.
2. By being obnoxious and/or unique (usually the former).
3. Jeff did most of them I'm pretty sure.

I got mine for being obnoxious. It was fun.

People haven't been given any lately. I don't think Jeff even bothers checking the forums anymore.

A title is a little word that appears under your avatar, that's the only use, really.

You earn a title for being an a-hole, a b-hole, a weird person, a crazy person, or just having a noticeable personality that could be shown in a title.

David and Jeff give you titles. Or maybe just David. Or just Jeff. Something like that.

…hmm, looks like both of us recognized the fact that being an a-hole of sorts tends to get you a title.

that's a shame, it'd have been interesting to see what people are labelled as by the way they act.

Jeff needs to get to work more so people can actually feel known as something!

Never ask for a title though. They will grant the wish, just not how you expected it.

titles are there so that the mods and admins can laugh at you
once you get them, you're stuck with them, too...
