I'm a n00b
well, the n00b it in the house... I have been reading over posts on Lugaru for about a week now, and I am intrigued by the information exchanged here. I'm completely new to 3D modeling and the like, but this game is amazing, and i would love to learn more about it all. I've been experimenting with tweaking files around, and creating odd effects, but I've also played Temple and Empire through, and they are astounding changes to the game. (it could be said that i am easily impressed. However, this is a big step up from Stick Soldiers.) I worked with the game Stick Soldiers for about 3 years, and it was pretty simple. But this game is much different.
Anyway... I guess I'm rambling at this point.

I'll do my best not to be, (Not that I usually am)
Re: I'm a n00b
Lugaru offers a ton of user control, and it's a great game to play around with. I knew nothing about such things before playing Lugaru, and I still don't know much. Still, if you have any questions I can try to answer them.

Plus, when the unlikely thing happens that Lugaru bores you, there the forums here to run around on and amuse you for a lifetime.

This is quite true. However I don't believe I've played a better game therefore, its gonna take me a LONG time to get bored with this. plus with all the features, and the map editor, and the multiplying possibilities this game presents, it seems nearly impossible. I'm definitely going to buy Lugaru 2 as soon as it comes out.Glabbit wrote:Plus, when the unlikely thing happens that Lugaru bores you, there the forums here to run around on and amuse you for a lifetime.

You may fail, but you gain nobility points by accepting your fail and not editing the post. A noble fail.
