this is bugging the HELL out of me: i played this game about 6 years ago. it was a 2D turn-based tactical game. it had 2 races (maybe 3, i can't remember), one was a zerg-like alien race, and the other was a robot race (there may have been a human race too, but i can't remember. it also may have been a human race with robots). you would start each match out by placing your units within a certain distance from your starting spot. you would then have to kill all of the other player's guys. you could do things like bounce grenades around corners, shoot through windows, and if you were the aliens, you had small flying creatures that you could fly through windows. some of the other units i specifically remember were a "grunt" robot with a machine gun, a sniper robot, and an alien that you could fly next to enemies, and it would explode and cover the floor with acidic goo.
i'm not sure whether or not it was a retail game or an indie game, but i think when i had it it might have been a demo.
so does anyone have any clue what game i'm talking about? it was so freakin' awesome, i must play it again!!!11
