Why do you think the Republicans and Democrats are the only parties that can compete to win? Because they stay really moderate and the third parties have to bring up the sticky issues.

Ya know just because you don't like the other canidate, doesn't mean you have to be an asshole and vandalize the signs. That's the what's wrong with America. Nobody respects each others opinions.
Completely agree. People can be really close-minded.

You, my friend, should be put in jail for that. Not for vandalizing the signs, but for being a total inconsiderate biiatch.
How could you people consider yourself Americans?

Because they took my Obama one first.
That's how most things get done in my town, through vandalism and theft, One time they wouldn't clean the pool well enough so some of the seniors actually took a shit in the pool.
But I don't really care if what I did was right or wrong wherever you guys live, because things like that are just how things work in my neighborhood.
Seriously my choices were either go watch some of my friends smoke/get high(I can't stand that crap) or go with my other friend and vandalize. Or be bored all night. Soooo

Yea, or you could've sat your ass down and done something that doesn't involve drugs or vandalism, but instead you had to be a little bastard and "do what you do" in your appearantly ghetto, poor, dangerous neighborhood.
I hope you get arrested.

it doesn't sound that bad actually. he said he doesn't like drugs, and he said he was vandalized first, which is true doesn't justify him vandalizing, but it does provoke him, he didn't vandalize anyone's house or anything of particular value, nor did he vandalize with gang signs (as far as I know), and because of most of this I'm guessing he's kind of middle class and the neighborhood is probably not very dangerous or ghetto.

Still, it's a pretty mean thing to do.
If somebody ripped my canidate's sign down, i'd egg their house. Not rip them back.

true it's a mean thing, but egging is even more mean as it is harder to clean off and does more damage to personal property than ripping a sign. not to say that I condone any of this.

Or you could just kill your grass and spray your sign on your front lawn with spray paint like some lady did.

Ahh, immaturity at its highest. I'm all for having fun, but that's just senseless. I'm not a supporter of McCain, in fact I preferred Obama, just stop being so retarded and grow up. I was gonna say "Go choke and die" because what you said pissed me off enough. To think you live in the self-professed "land of the free" and you're denying the rights of another human being to a fair campaign.
Lugaruman100 wrote:Socialism and conservatism both have downfalls.
You talk about the two as if they are opposites. Neither of them are directly related. Socialism refers to a set of economic theories. It would have made much more sense to compare Conversatism and Liberalism. Conservatism generally refers to the censorship of anything radical or conflicting to current principles of politics or society. Liberalism is the other side of the coin to this, and conversely to conservatism it entails the support of the prospect of change, the support of your fundamental rights and freedoms as a human being (e.g. right to life, limb, liberty, freedom of speech etc.) and generally a restriction on the power of the government executive to take away the rights or freedoms of a citizen.

A high IQ doesn't mean you're going to make the right vote. You seem to be implying that if someone's opinion of a form of government differs to yours that they are stupid and wrong. That's a fundamental view of a fascist dictatorship. Say hello to Josef Stalin Jr.

Judging by past leaders in congress and presidents left and right, they are opposites. I prefer something in the middle not something that a group of massive power dictates to me and I have yet to find that unfortunately.

Thank you for proving my point. Even though I am for McCain, i would be just as pissed if nerodx ripped down Obama signs.

Meh, yeah it was immature but I enjoy immature things. I'm a teenage kid living in some random town, and I'm going to enjoy my youth as much as I can. Yes, sometimes at the expense of another persons sign. But considering it is a sign (they didn't even buy it) and it was a fun experiance, no regrets.
