so... i formated my hard drive and reinstalled XP, and the virus is gone, but i dont have many drivers, and the computer still runs slow

i smell spoiled and rich from somewhere... + i take good physical care of the computer, cleaning it and making sure its screws are tight, and this is the first time i've had anything like this happen, why would i destroy a perfectly good piece of hardware, that i could probably fix with a little technical support...?

i, actually, cannot call myself that. I have a very small house, unlike everyone else i know. we have one computer, one tv, (which is very small). i dont have an allowance, im lucky to get 20 bucks on my birthday. i dont have a cell phone, (like everyone else i know). i share a room with two siblings, and i usually have to sleep on the floor. so thank you ^^

i meant no offence,

and i take care of the computers in my house because they are the only ones i will use for years to come, so its better to keep them working...

edit: i share a room with siblings and live in a small house too, so i can relate, sorry.

ok, i got most of the drivers back, i can get Gimp, Blender, AlZip, Irfanview, and all the regular stuff to work well, however, Lugaru still runs laggy. th only drivers i couldn't update and get running again are: Video Controler, and Video Controler (VGA compatable) i cannot pull up anymore information on them, probably because they were lost in the format, but if anyone has any ideas, it would be great.

hehe... i tried that... it didn't work... and now it is imparative that i figure out how to get it woking again, because now neither of my computers run lugaru (without it being laggy, and getting stuck on the loading screen). both stopped running lugaru after i reinstalled XP on them, and i know that both are perfectly capable of running it, because they ran it before i did that. i probably lost the drivers that made the game work... i've tried reinstalling lugaru, but it doesn't help. i've also tried lowering the graphics, downloading additional .dll's (the ones that lugaru says cannot be found) but i never got all the way through with that... i ended up with a messege saying ilImageUpload has failed or something like that... but anyway, if i could get this straightened out, it would be great, because i could then keep making weapons and maps.

anyway, HELP!
