It sounds cool and means werewolf, who wouldn't want to use it?

I can see people calling things Loup Garou, but Lugaru? That's almost too coincidental.

Lugaru isn't actually the phonetic spelling of loup-garou. In reality, the 'ou' makes a slightly different sound in French than does the 'u' in Lugaru. That's why I was so surprised to find this.
