The wolves were undisciplined thugs, and Inferti sheathed his sword. One wolf took it as a sign of weakness and charged with a Pike, but Inferti leaped back against the wall and then launched off it horizontally, directly above the spear that had narrowly missed him. He used both hands to grab the wolf's outstretched arms and catapulted over the wolf, gathering enough leverage and momentum to throw him over his head and into the remaining wolf. They both got up quickly and fled. Inferti sighed. He turned to the fox who had fought beside him. "Who are you?" he asked in a friendly way. Wyit sheathed his own blade and replied, "Wyit. I'm not from around here- does that usually happen?" Inferti gave a sour chuckle. "The thugs will pick on anybody they can, or at least they'll try to. I'm Inferti." He extended a hand and Wyit shook it. "Well, I might be seeing you later." Inferti turned away and headed through the forest path to his small fort not too far away. He was familiar with the path, even though there was no real path- many of the travelers detoured on the edge of the forest and took the long way around, as many feral animals along with Raiders and Thugs lived inside the forest. He stopped at a small stream in a large patch of the woods that was similar to a rain forest with all the tropical surroundings. As he ducked down to take a sip, he heard the smallest breath from a branch not even 20 feet away. Probably just a squirrel or a feral, he told himself, though his hand was ready to draw his blade and his feet were ready to jump out of the way.

(Noz, this is a good space for Runtufan to enter the story)

The wolverine.....does he want to be my friend??? he sees me as a freak too? want to kill me? Try not to involve me in the story please, or at least something like.....I sense that you don't see me as a monster and we start a weird friendship and I follow you or something like that

Ogier steps gingerly over an unconscious wolf as he heads towards the merchant stall, the merchant an elderly rat continues cowering as Ogier attempts to strike a bargain with him, eventually Ogier yells "5 GOLD COINS AND NOT A BIT MORE!" before hurling money at the merchants shriveled form and grabbing a bag of rice. ignoring the fact that the amount he took wasn't even worth one. he stalks off angry at the terrible deal he's just made and heads towards the mountains.

Wyit watched Inferti walk away. he chuckled and walked into the bar "how much for a bed for the night?" said Wyit "10 coins your room is up the stairs three doors down and to your right" Wyit gave the bartender the money and walked up to his room. He took off his armor and put the bigger katana with the armor. And put his smaller katana under his pillow. He soon fell asleep.

Steve wakes up to footsteps, big footsteps, WOLF footsteps and decides his nap is over. He jumps out the doorway and through the hall away from the ever growing sound of wolves walking through the house. He darts out of the house into the street and thinks it best not to go back there again. He goes inside a nearby bar and gets something to settle his stomach.

As Omegi enters the abandoned house opposite the bar, he hears something dart out of the house, but thinks nothing of it and goes to sleep.

Runtufan the berserk wolverine still almost fully intoxicated, approaches inferti and taps her on the shoulder. The wolverine kneels down and puts his face in the water. Bubbles begin to stop coming from the water and Runtufan sputters and pulls himself out. Then asks the name of the Mara.

Runtufan is not constantly drunk. He also dislikes badgers and would not kill a friendly wolf.

Runtufan then passes out at the side of the river by the assassin Inferti who is left with what to do with the drunken Wolverine.

Cap. Jacko saw the clawless wolf enter the old house next to the bar. Omegi had three choices, Join the regiment, die,or beat the Captain of the Runtas at a knife throwing match. It was then that private Melk of the Runtas noticed that Runtafan was missing. "Captain, where's the Chief?"
"You two, go and find him. I have to deal with this hooded wolf."

OK... Noz, you made 6 posts there <___< Try not to do that. Also, Inferti is a male (guy).

By the time that the wolverine had awoken, Inferti had already made the rest of the trip to his abode. Slipping through a hidden side door, he disarmed several deadly traps along the walls, floor, ceiling, and blocks hidden among the plants, then re-armed them all for any unfortunate soul who might try to attack. The fort was not very big, as it was just intended for a small group of people, but it was much larger then the tavern had been. The area Inferti stood now was a natural clearing with rocks heaped in one corner as an outdoor fireplace, a stream running through a dormant pond on another corner, and several makeshift humanoid targets that Inferti used for testing weapons and throwing knives. There were four high towers for archers linked by narrow rope bridges. He went downstairs to the underground portion, similar to the top portion in respects to a fireplace, a small pond that had once been an underground aquifer, and next to it, living quarters. Six beds lined one wall, and across the expanse there was a storage area for weapons, food, and other commodities. He stretched out and took off his light assassin armor, taking some time to relax on a bed as he munched on a strip of salty meat.

Name: Malek

Gender: Male

Appearance: Sharp green eyes/reddish tint, long-ish tail.

Physical Build: Muscular, half inch claws on hands and feet, needle like teeth.

Mental Build: Extremely intellectual, loves a good conversation, or the chance to learn.

Social Build: Dislikes unintelligent people, if they cannot hold a good conversation they aren't worth his time.

Armor: Black leather wrapped chainmail, and black steel bracers with small spikes on the outer side of the forearm.

Primary Weapon: A Flammenschwert (Just call it a flame sword)

Secondary Weapon: A steel Kyoketsu Shoge

Other Abilities Of Note: Fast reflexes, saliva can cause infection, eyes can be hypnotic for the unwary, and has a confounding vocabulary when wanting to confuse idiots.

History: Came from a small island called Ream where he had been studying the arts under the tutorship of a great warrior since he was 15. He left that island, after another 15 years of studying, looking for his own adventure, so that he too may return to the island and have his own disciple. he spent two more years sailing to a remote island rumored to be relatively unexplored and well isolated, called Lugaru. This seemed to him like a place where he could find his adventure.

Malek had reached the shore of Lugaru two days ago, and now was walking through the deserted street of a small town. it was dark out, and his armor made him appear as part of the night. he walked toward the lighted windows of a tavern. The barkeeper watched the door open, and saw Malek's shape slowly form in the doorway. "Evening friend," the keep said. "Need a room?" Malek walked in, steadily aware of the places layout. "Aye, and a cup of hot soup, if its readily available." The barkeeper nodded and poured some meaty soup into a cup. "10 coins for a room." The keep said. "I have only foreign currency, would you be interested in it?" Malek drew a couple of coins from his pocket and placed them on the counter. "I'm actually familiar with this money." the keep said. "I'll exchange your currency for our own if you like." Malek was glad he had found the tavern, he might have had trouble without local currency. "If you would," Malek took all his money from a pouch in his pocket, and placed it on the bar. "Please do." The barkeeper counted it out carefully, then wiped it off the counter and into a sack. He then counted out 210 gold coins from another sack. "you would have had 222 coins, but i deducted your room and the soup." the keeper said. "Thank you, much obliged." Malek said. "Up the stairs and fourth door on the left." the keep said. Malek nodded and walked to his room.
