2121 BC

Post by Lotus Wolf » Thu Feb 12, 2009 12:16 pm

So, I've been writing on my spare time for years, and I just started a new story. just letting idea's flow off the top of my head, but i thought I'd share it with you guys. lemme know if you're interested in it, if so, i'll continue posting updates on it.
2121 B.C.

By: Scott Sutherland

The Earth died, we survived… When the Earth died, something was born…

In 2021, nuclear fire consumed the Earth.

In 2054, survivor colonies began reforming, rebuilding, and remaking our world.

In 2072, new species began appearing. Since 2021, the nuclear contamination had been steadily changing the environment, and those in it.

In 2097, a bio-energy grid was constructed to power and speed the reconstruction of Earth.

In 2100, a mutative viral infection gripped the remains of humanity, airborne and contact strains of the virus exist. About 35% of surviving humans are immune, and about 10% of those are immune to both strains.

In 2101, Roshu was born.

In 2109, Roshu begins training under master Yoshimaru to become a modernized samurai.

In 2116, Yoshimaru was killed by an infected individual. He passed on a great secret of Bushido to Roshu before he passed away.

It’s 2121, and Roshu roams from colony to colony, helping where he can, and protecting their inhabitants from the infected.

Roshu met me outside of such a colony. He helped me when others rejected me.

Is that the beginning of it? I think it'd be better to start off in the middle of something and gradually introduce more of the past as the story goes along. Otherwise it reads like a wiki article. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dates_in_Star_Wars

that's actually a small introduction i wrote to keep myself inside my own lines, the actual story will start in the middle somewhere and introduce more of the past, like you said.

oh, and time is going in reverse. i'll probably explain that somehow in the story.

The Mayan calender ends (also the world so they said) in 2012, along with the Egyption calender, and I'm pretty sure Nostradamus said something like that too...

But time going backwards?!
This story might get a little to confusing for me to contemplate.

I'm pretty sure Nostradamus predicted things to happen in years that have already gone past which didn't happen in the slightest, so I'd say he was just some kook who wanted a big name.
