you're right invertin all that actualy does matter is to be alive. so heres the moral: it doesent matter how you do it as long as you stay alive. maybe thats what some muggers do i actualy feel pitty for them. some of them might be show off's but seriously theres muggers out there who doesent have a choice and nobody try's to help them, its not all of them that are cold blooded killers but some ppl are just too stupid to realise it. Lotus, have you ever been shot with any kind of gun? It hurts like hell, I've been shot with a pellet gun, and that hurt like hell. I have a scar on my arm from it. The weapon caliber that kills the most people is the .22. I own a .22 caliber Remington rifle, I've got a hunters license, and I've been hunting. Most animals don't survive gunshots, and most animals are tougher than humans. My point is it's not just going to hurt a lot, it's probably going to kill you. Lets just say the bullet hits you in the ass for some reason, its not just going to go in half and inch, it's going to tear muscle tissue, tear veins, and if it hits a major artery, your screwed. Let's say you get shot in the stomach, It's going to (depending on what kind of ammo you using) either bounce around in you stomach doing all kinds of damage. It'll shred you're innards, tear veins, and in most cases kill you . If you get hit in the chest it'll bounce of you ribs, and possible puncture you lungs, heart, or major arteries. If you get hit in the arms same problem.

No, i've never been shot, thankfully. I'll just stop arguing here.

On Topic: Yeah i've never gotten mugged before. But I have gotten in a fight with an idiot in my class, he was really asking for it. I punched him in the stomach and he doubled over. Then he tackled me, I turned and punched him in the nose and I heaved the beast off of me. He was extremely mad now, and he charged at me and slammed me into a wall. This got me pissed. I pressure-pointed his neck, and he let out a scream and crumpled to the ground. I ran afterwards and never got in trouble later on.

lol just remembered one of our favorite family stories is about my great uncle (he suicided like my grandpa) anyway he was living in germany at the time and someone tried to mug him, and he being actually clinically insane of some sort, beat the guy up and took his wallet.

i can believe in the things Lotus and Ragdollmaster said,it dident sound so over dramatic or like they were super ninja's but super lucky.I do not mean to sound like a mean bastard or somthing,but did all the other people just come to this thread to brag about how big and bad they are ? Just because you can defend your self and harm other people,it doesent mean thats the smartest way to get out of such situations. Those muggers too have life and if you cripple them they might have it just as bad as if you got stabbed or shot. Some of them are just trying to get by these days,and extreme situations calls of extreme impulsive actions, if you cant keep your head cool in those situations god knows what can happen. Think befor acting for god sake.Im not against defending my self i do not believe in god and all that shit im just telling that there are lots of ways you can avoid confrontations like this keep that in mind.
