Meh, this is a sign of things to come, in both a good and bad way.
More people (read: idiots) are coming to the forum, and probably leading to more people learning about Lugaru and Overgrowth, which is pretty good actually.
On the other hand, this forum is becoming more like a bigger one, with more people, many of them spammers and idiots, and more random topics, which isn't that great....ew... I couldn't stand it if this became a big forum, I think it's better like this.

We have a problem with SpamBots on another forum that I admin. So much to the point where all new members are being manually activated by admins, until we set up a filtering process.
A CAPTCHA image along with a fairly straightforward question should do the job. Most generic bots can't answer CAPTCHA's well, and a very basic question (What game are we developing? What is the name of the Company?) would keep out the rest from registering.
