That's some traumatic shit: violence, injury, helplessness, fear of a repeat of the same or worse...

Yuck. And it's easy to feel dumb-- how can you concentrate on anything with all that going through your brain.

But! You've got some friends, you're smart enough to value them, and smart enough to know you're feeling like shit.

Find some help,someone to talk to, and if taking care of your friends is too stressful right now, find a professional.

EDIT: Oh, and don't take anything you read on a web forum too seriously!
