Well, i cant seem to find any Animation programs (software's?) that i like. I've tried pivot but...
i was frustrated my the limitations of it. after a while i just left it because of that...
but this isn't the story of how i stopped animating, for this is about the programs (software?...)
use when making animations! just post any animation programs (software? -_-) that you've used and/or liked.

What kind of animation software?
3D animation, Blender 3D is free.

For 2D, PAP has a free version.

For turning real-life drawing into animations, or for claymation, you need a compositing program. Blender 3D can do this as well.
Endorphin has a free learning edition. It uses motion capture and behavioral AI and keyframe animation and supposedly syncs them all up perfectly. Seemed too complicated for my tastes.

If you go with Blender, you can try starting with this scene and character:

I've done claymation before, didn't like it much tough.Endoperez wrote: For turning real-life drawing into animations, or for claymation, you need a compositing program. Blender 3D can do this as well.
