There are veterans, but no soldiers.
There are minutes, but no seconds.
There is mustard, but no mustard seeds / There is ketchup, but no tomatoes.
There are geniuses, but no prodigies.
(Like, grown geniuses, but no genius children)
It has to do with time/cause-effect relations. Maybe. That, or Lotus is on a really big acid trip.
